Service Description

An optional session for Incubator members only. Donations are suggested. Venerable Tenzin Namjong and Whitney Reed invites: In this online group course, you will develop the practice of mindfulness and METTA, cultivating natural capacities for an open and loving heart towards ourselves and all beings. Metta and Mindfulness practices lead to greater acceptance of ourselves and others, revealing our fundamental connectedness to all life. Facilitator for this course: Whitney Reed is a certified community Dharma Leader through Spirit Rock and a life-long including many hours of practice and retreats under the Vipassana tradition. She is coordinating meditations and group discussions. Teacher: Born and raised in Hawaii, Venerable Tenzin Namjong has lived in India for sixteen years. He had studied and trained in Zen and Theravadin Buddhist traditions before embracing the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He was ordained as a bhikkhu (fully ordained monk) by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Princeton University and is now in the fifteenth year of the Geshe study program in Buddhist Philosophy and Practice at Sera Je Monastery in Bylakuppe, India. He is a registered teacher within the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) and regularly teaches for students worldwide. Donation to
